Baby Steps: 1 Month Old! {plus our favorite baby products}

1 MonthWe made it!  The other day our little girl turned ONE MONTH!  Already she has changed so much!  This, by far, has been one of the most…. THE most… challenging months of mine and Jarret’s lives.  It had ups, downs, tears, laughs – from all three of us… and Dexter too!  Aria is a good little “human puppy” though and we are so grateful to have her!

These are some of the products that have helped us stay {somewhat} sane during the last month. 🙂

Baby Products that have helped us stay sane during the first month - Neverland Nook

1} Fisher-Price Snugapuppy Deluxe Newborn Rock ‘n Play Sleeper – This was a surprise gift from friend’s of ours.  It was heaven sent!  She sleeps in this at night and some naps!  She needs it for some reflux help because it keeps her elevated and she loves being secure inside.

2} Boppy Pillow – I know everyone has seen this and has different opinions, but it was a huge help at night and when bottle feeding her!  It’s also nice to sit on when recovering from labor. 🙂

3} Halo Sleepsack – We struggled with swaddling blankets, so when a friend {the same one who got us the Rock ‘n Play} recommended this little treasure I had to get it!  This has been a lifesaver for nights when she fights sleep!

4} May Designs Baby Diary – I love this company! You get to designed your own book to help keep track of feedings, diapers, and sleep {and they have plenty of other types of books you can buy…. agendas, budget, meal planners, etc}.  This has been a lifesaver to carry around to the doctors office for when they ask all those questions.

5} Avent Soothie Pacifiers – While she likes a couple of other different kind of pacifiers, these by far have been her favorite, I’m so glad the hospital gave us a couple of extra of these. 🙂

6} Equity by La Crosse 10″ Wall Clock – I never realized how many times new moms & dads have to look at a clock.  I picked this one up right away after we brought her home and put it up in her room.

7} Graco FastAction Fold Travel System Stroller – We love our new travel system.  The stroller is always ready to go at the front door because I walk with her and Dex every afternoon.  The car seat is easy to get her into and to get into the car.

PS – For those of you wondering how our actual pup is doing with the introduction of the “human puppy”… he is doing well!  He is a protective and loving big puppy brother.  Our furry heart!
