“It’s never too late to live happily ever after.”
This past weekend my mom got married. It is definitely surreal to watch a parent get married. It was emotional, joyous, and I am so charmed that these two have extended our family by walking down the aisle together.
Held in their backyard, the wedding was a small ceremony that consisted of their closest family and friends. It turned out to be a beautiful day with a fun filled southern bbq and ended with a nighttime pool party.
One of my most favorite touches of the wedding was not in the decor, but my mom’s choice of her “something old”. Her dress was blue, her wedding band was new, and her something old was the headband I wore on my wedding day almost 5 years ago. Of course my babe gave it a try too.
