The snow that came last week is finally melting this weekend. While I love snow in the south because everything shuts down and the magic of the day is peaceful, it also means that school gets shut down for DAYS because we don’t get our roads salted out where we live, so once the snow melts it just turns to ice. I haven’t had much chance to catch up on work since winter break because of this impromptu snow winter break, lol. Hanging out with my girl takes precedence during those daylight hours, but I’m up early to finally try and catch up on blogging. I have so many galleries to share from autumn, but I’ll start with Christmas minis.
I had so much fun hosting several mini sessions at a local tree lot this year. I was also excited to be invited into one family’s home for cozy Christmas photos in front of their tree and fireplace.
This older brother is just the sweetest to his baby sister AND he wasn’t feeling well at the beginning of the session, he was such a trooper!
These parents were so sweet on their kiddos. Mom wasn’t sure if they’d smile, but they warmed up right away, naturals!
Now, how cozy does this look? Even the cat joined in for a millisecond! Matching pjs and a whole lot of love by the fire, love this!
You can see some more Christmas mini sessions at a local farm by clicking HERE. I’m now booking Spring family sessions and also have some fun spring and summer mini sessions coming up soon. You can follow along on my latest updates on Instagram.
I would love to tell your story! If you’re interested in booking a photography session with me I would love to work with you, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org – Charlotte, NC Family Photographer and surrounding areas
