I was inspired by Meredith’s {the mom of the year} post from yesterday, Love Around These Parts {yes, I stole her title – Thanks Meredith!}. Even without having kids running around our house we have a crazy busy life where I have to stop, breathe, and breathe in all the loveliness that is “love around these parts”.
Love is when our dog, Dexter, stops me from working about 20 times a day for a hug. He gives me legitimate hugs all day – Irresistible!
Love is when I finally receive an order of blue costume satin from my supplier! It is always on back order and it is the most popular cape color ordered – I have little heart attacks I’ll run out one day.
Love is my husband, Jarret, waking up early to take Dexter out so I can watch Smallville in peace every morning at 6:00 am. He’s not a morning person, so this is a gift Monday – Friday!
Love is staying up all hours making capes with Jarret cutting emblems for me while we catch up on television shows online. He is my biggest supporter and the best free labor!
Love is the post office picking up the packages I leave on my door step. Biggest time saver!
Love is the people I come in contact with everyday who shop from my little Etsy shop and leave me wonderful feedback and pictures.
Love is my family supporting me through every “baby step”.
