In the southern, middle part of North Carolina we are in the middle of thunderstorm season. It is fun sometimes, but can be very scary sometimes. We get a bad storm almost every evening. You get used to it, but the torrential downpours are crazy {and of course it does not soak into the ground where it’s needed}.
The other night I was determined to catch lightning on camera. My husband said to set up the camera to somehow continually take pictures of the sky…. me? I was way too determined to catch it myself…. and I did!!!! Twice actually, but this is the better picture of the two.

With all the storms has come plenty of rainbows… I still believe in magic, so I’m hoping that with everyone I’ve seen lately it will bring a little more magic to the wishes we’ve been making.
There are 2 awesome parts about this rainbow: 1} It was taken just after this storm passed and was in the same spot as the lightning and 2} It is 2 rainbows!!!!! I didn’t even notice until I brightened the picture… Too cool!!
