I am a wanna be country, sweet southern girl. I grew up in New York and moved to North Carolina when I was about 12. I didn’t fully embrace the lovliness that is the south until recently however {a mere 16 years later}. I LOVE it! I probably finally fell in love with it 4 years ago, and now I can’t get enough. I work on my accent all the time {I have a pretty neutral accent} and once I reach my goal of getting back to my “happy weight” {after putting on pounds due to these damn fertility hormones – lost 4 of 14.. whoo hoo!} I am buying a sweet pair of cowgirl boots to wear while I shake it to Luke Bryan’s “Country Girl”. Ah, but my most beloved love about the south is plaid shirts. I realized this past year that I love them, buy them, and still don’t feel like I have enough of them. If this was my closet… I think I would have to pinch myself out of the dream…
