So, being that this is our first official TIPsy Tuesday on our new website I had a really great one planned out, that was until I realized it is 1:30 in the morning and I have been working all day and don’t have enough time to give it the attention it needs with pictures and a great tutorial, so I will save that one for next week. Any who, this one is pretty easy and very useful for any party. I just threw a baby shower for my good friend this past weekend (more to come about the baby shower) and it was a dessert themed shower. I knew I needed to serve something healthy, but I wanted to continue to incorporate my theme (who wouldn’t?). As per usual, I was browsing on Pinterest and saw a genius idea… fruit in an ice cream cone!

I bought grapes, blueberries, and raspberries. I washed and dried them as best I could. So yummy!

The most ingenious part of this whole ordeal is using cupcake liners to prevent the cone from getting soggy. I placed a liner in each of my cones before putting the fruit in.

Once the fruit is in, it makes the cutest display and everybody loved them!

See, super easy TIPsy Tuesday this week, but adorable! Now go on and be a hostess with the mostess!

I love, love, love the new page, ladies! Am currently working on figuring out how to follow and I will! It looks so great–good job you!
Thank you so much Meredith!!! It’s still a work in progress, but a good one!
We have the new Linky follow which will also help you out, since wordpress people don’t have the connection with google connect anymore.
Meredith: Google unfortunately stopped the Google Friend Connect program on March 1st for non-Blogger accounts and is recommending that people on Blogger start using google +1, so it might just be a matter of time before it disappears from there as well!
To follow what the two amazing ladies are working on why not ‘like’ the Facebook page? I know Sabrina updates the latest stories pretty meticulously.
Which reminds me, I need to make a google + banner.. Thank you Neil
These are really cute! They would be perfect for a kid’s birthday party. This is a great project! Would you consider linking this up at my Pinworthy Projects Party?
Thank you so much for stopping by and I’m glad you like this project. I will stop by to link up!! Thank you for the invite!!!
Whoa- those ARE super easy! Not only did they work perfectly for your party, but I could see them at an Ice cream social as a healthy alternative- might even cover the berries in yogurt and freeze them! I’d love for you to share at Sweet Sharing Monday! http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/sweet-sharing-monday-4/ (Up until Midnight Tonight)
Oh how I LOVE your freezing yogurt idea.. Just glob some cool whip on it and I probably would’ve eaten all of them! Thanks so much! I will be linking up today!
Thanks for the invite.
What a fun way to bring healthy choices to your kids. I am thinking you could put some Greek yogurt in there and make a parfait of sorts out of it. Thanks for the idea!
