Wine and a Treehouse

My husband, Jarret, and I decided to do new things this year and the first one on our list was to stay at Treehouse Vineyards.  Yep, that’s right…. we spent the night on a vineyard in a treehouse.  It was a LOT of fun.  {The only thing I would recommend is going in the Spring or Fall… we happened to spend the night on a very cold night and when the website said “heated” it was 2 small heaters that didn’t quite heat up and the water in the house didn’t quite run when it was so cold, but we had fun anyways}

The grounds are beautiful.  They have 3 horses who roam the vineyards and a couple of dogs as well.  The land has been in the owner’s family for over 200 years. 

 We went on a tour of their wine making process and had a wine tasting.  All of them were so delicious!!!

 We ate our healthy dinner and then indulged in some cupcakes and Treehouse Vineyards wine.

 All in all, we had a great time together.  We needed a fun little getaway {close to home} that would help us get closer and away from the little stresses of life.
